Disabled Access

Dentists want to make treatment as accessible as possible, for as many people as possible.

Recent legislation means that, from 2004, Dentists had to make some adjustments to their practices to ensure wheelchair access and also provide things like grab rails and ramps.

Some practices – such as St Georges Dental Practice – are exempt from providing permanent adjustments, as it is sited in a Grade 2 listed building (you can check this with Chorley Borough Council).

However, a temporary ramp is available to allow wheelchair access; please call ahead and the Reception Team will arrange this for you on your arrival.

The Practice also offers three ground floor surgeries for patients who find stairs challenging.
